OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP X MAGNIBERG: ‘NATURA’

'NATURA' by Our Legacy Work Shop x Magniberg - Photography by Louis Flashman

Magniberg and Our Legacy Work Shop continue their longstanding collaboration with the second drop of their shared collection ‘NATURA’, consisting of naturally dyed clothing and home textiles.

Recontextualising the familiar, the release presents Magniberg’s ‘Wall Street’ staples rendered in Our Legacy Work Shop’s manner, focusing on pyjama sets and bedwear. Bearing Magniberg’s stitched sateen label and Work Shop’s yin and yang logo, the PJs are cut in a luxuriously soft and crisp cotton poplin, while the bedding is made from Oxford cotton that is breathable and softens with time. All of which has been garment-dyed to create an intentionally imperfect look.

With this second release, the full collection now includes bedwear, pyjamas, bathrobes, and towels, all filtered through the Our Legacy Work Shop NATURA concept. NATURA embraces natural dyeing methods with colourants derived exclusively from plants and minerals. Applied in Portugal, this technique imparts each garment with a sun-faded, lived-in expression – muted in tone and softened in touch.

Further exploring transformations, the campaign imagery draws its inspiration from tatami mats and the mobility of Japanese bedrooms: packed up in the morning and unfolded at night. Photographed in Tokyo by Louis Flashman.
