Kvadrat Acoustics provides bespoke, high-performance acoustic solutions that emphasize aesthetic quality and are tailored to enhance comfort and acoustic control in spaces, such as offices and auditoriums. These solutions often address common acoustic challenges in modern architecture, where materials like glass and concrete increase sound reverberation.

Moreover, Kvadrat Acoustics collaborates with architects to blend sound control with visual elegance, using a selection of Kvadrat fabrics that feature a range of textures, colours, and tested acoustic performance per EN ISO 354 standards.

Below, can be found a selection of Kvadrat Acoustics' latest and most significant projects and innovations.

Bjarke Ingels Group: BIG - Copenhagen HQ

In 2023, Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) opened a 7-storey HQ located in Copenhagen’s harbour Nordhavn, a district known for its rich history of warehouses and factories. BIG selected a Kvadrat Acoustics solution to improve the acoustic environment of their workspaces and meeting rooms, tackling the challenges posed by the hard materials typical of the interior, such as large windows, stone, raw aluminium, and hot-rolled steel.

By integrating Kvadrat Acoustics' solutions, the design team was able to enhance both the acoustics and the aesthetic harmony of the space. These solutions not only address the acoustic issues but also complement the material palette chosen by BIG, creating a productive and comfortable meeting environment for everyone working there.
